Diagnostic testing is the standard of care recommended and supported by all of the top veterinary medical organizations and as pets cannot tell us how they feel this lab work acts as the “voice” of your pet. Our precious pets age faster, with a human year being the equivalent to an average of 7 years to your pet, and diagnostic testing helps identify potential health issues earlier, before they become advanced. Remember, the cost of prevention is far more affordable than treatment for advanced disease, and establishing baseline values now is greatly beneficial for identifying disease sooner as well as for when/if your pet becomes sick.
